BFP

Blue Fluorescent Protein (BFP) is a reporter protein derived from the green fluorescent protein (GFP) family. When excited by specific wavelengths of light, BFP emits a distinct blue fluorescence, visualizing and tracking gene expression. The blue fluorescence of BFP indicates whether the gene of interest is being actively expressed and allows for live-cell imaging, helping to study dynamic cellular processes in real-time.
